Goldrush
To find the gold we'll first need some geology skills. Once we've got it we'll dig into our chemistry toolkit and see if we can purify it. We just might also play around with the iron ore we find and cook up a little thermite. ​​

Guts + Glory
That's right, just like medical students in their first year, we dissect and examine a body. Unlike medical school though, these porcine bodies are fresh!
fuel
How many different kinds of fuels can we generate? Could we create useful fuels from wood? compost? water? And if it's at all possible to make a little rocket fuel.....we definitely will.
Pioneering
As pioneers we'll need to study our local environment; find food, shelter and tools from natural resources and ultimately become part of the ecosystem.
Shock + awe
Can we build hand powered projectile launchers and hit and destroy a distant target?
